Human Rights

Human rights are the fundamental rights and freedoms inherent to all individuals, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, or any other status. They are based on principles of dignity, equality, and mutual respect, which are essential for a just society. Human rights encompass a wide range of protections, including civil and political rights (such as the right to free speech and the right to a fair trial), as well as economic, social, and cultural rights (such as the right to education and the right to work).

These rights are universally accepted and are often outlined in international documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations in 1948. Human rights are designed to safeguard individuals and groups from abuses and to ensure that they can live with dignity, participate in society, and access basic needs. Enforcing and promoting human rights is a critical responsibility of governments, organizations, and individuals around the world to prevent violations and to foster a climate of inclusivity and respect.
